General Terms & Conditions.

Scope
These Terms & Conditions govern all contracts concluded via the online shop of FÅGELBO (a brand of Hud Hud Enterprises GmbH, Wildenbruchstrasse 74, 12045 Berlin, Germany).

Contract Formation
By placing an order in our webshop, you make a binding offer to purchase. A contract is formed once we confirm your order by email.

Prices & Payment
All prices are final prices according to § 19 UStG (Kleinunternehmerregelung; no VAT shown). Payment is processed securely via Squarespace Payments with the methods offered there (such as credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or other methods displayed at checkout).

Handmade Character of Goods
Each FÅGELBO piece is individually handmade, and the exact bag you see in the product photographs is the one you will receive. Colour variations may occur due to individual screen settings. Because of the artisanal process, no item is ever “machine perfect”. Subtle irregularities in stitching, leather grain, or embroidery are not flaws but inherent qualities of true craftsmanship. Natural variations (including minor differences in shade or texture, and display-dependent colour rendering) are part of the product’s artistic character and do not constitute defects or give rise to warranty claims.

Delivery & Shipping
We ship within the EU and internationally. Delivery times and shipping costs are shown during checkout. For deliveries outside the EU, import duties, taxes, or fees may apply and are the responsibility of the customer. We cannot estimate these costs in advance.

Right of Withdrawal
Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days. See Withdrawal Policy below.

Returns
Returned goods should be in their original condition and must be securely packaged to avoid damage. If goods are returned damaged or incomplete, we may deduct compensation for loss of value.

Liability
We are fully liable where required by law, in particular for intent, gross negligence, or injury to life, body, or health. For slight negligence, we are liable only for the breach of essential contractual obligations (duties whose fulfilment enables proper performance of the contract and on which you regularly rely), limited to foreseeable, contract-typical damages. Liability for indirect damages and loss of profits is excluded where legally permissible.

Retention of Title
The goods remain our property until payment is made in full.

Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or non-performance caused by events beyond our control (e.g. strikes, natural events, customs delays, carrier disruptions). Delivery periods are extended accordingly.

Intellectual Property
All content on this website (text, images, designs, products) is protected by copyright. Any reproduction, distribution, or modification requires prior permission.

Governing Law
German law applies. The UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) does not apply. If you are a consumer, mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.

Withdrawal Policy.

Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day you received the goods. To exercise your right, send a clear statement (e.g. by email) to:

Effects of Withdrawal
If you withdraw, we will refund all payments, including standard delivery costs, within 14 days. Refunds are made using the same payment method. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods.

You bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for diminished value if it results from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods. Goods must be returned in their original condition with all parts (as far as reasonably possible). Original packaging is not mandatory, but secure packaging is required. If not, we may deduct a reasonable amount for loss of value (e.g. visible wear, scratches, stains, missing accessories).
